The Greystone North subdivision is located in
DeKalb County’s Northlake area and includes 78 single-family homes. The
community was established in the late 1980s by home builders Larry Ross,
Walter Chewning, M. C. Honea, Thurmond Builders, and others.
Greystone North’s original covenants were recorded on November, 24, 1987 in
Deed Book 6005, Page 32 of the DeKalb County, Georgia records.
In 2011, the
Greystone North Homeowners Association, Inc. (GNHA), a Georgia non-profit
corporation, was formed. The GNHA filed an Amendment to the Declaration of
Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions, Rights and Easements as recorded in
Deed Book 22520, Page 28 of the DeKalb County, Georgia records. The amended
covenants permit GNHA to apply for commercial property insurance and to
represent all owners and lots in our community in operating and maintaining
the areas of common responsibility as described in the covenants.
The annual GNHA
meeting takes place in February. Current GNHA dues are $275 per residence.
